Cement truck crushes moped driver to death in Pudong

A woman died under the wheels of a cement truck early this morning at a crossroad in Pudong New Area.

The woman was riding a moped along Kangshen Road when the truck driving on the same road turned right to Shenmei Road and knocked her down around 6:40am, witnesses said.

The woman died instantly when the truck wheels ran over her head, according to the witnesses.

Police are still investigating the cause of the accident.
